Everything You Imagine is Real

I had paused writing reflective pieces for a while. Perhaps because of new goals or the daily rush—I'm not entirely sure. But I enjoy conversing with people who I feel understand me. Even though I don't know who's reading, you all feel that way to me.
Speaking of new goals, I’ve never been someone content with a single pursuit. Even in the course of a day, it’s like I can’t relax if I’m not multitasking. In the time left over from reading, I always create something for myself.
I also want to add that I’ve never seen reading as merely a way to fill spare time. For me, it’s part of the natural flow of the day. In fact, on family days when we spend time together, if I haven’t read even a few pages, I feel like something is missing.
As Mustafa Kemal Atatürk said:
“To live without books is to be deaf, dumb, and blind.”

Wishing that everyone had this awareness, I’ll return to my topic. As you’ll read in the About section, I am advancing in a new career field after moving to a different country. In Turkey, while I worked, I also pursued things I enjoyed. It was a hobby that became a part-time job. This began about 4-5 years ago when I discovered my passion for design, continually fueled by new dreams and goals.
While living in Istanbul, managing this was difficult amidst the hustle. Moving to a new life helped me focus on what I wanted to do. This journey of a new life became, in a way, my new career journey.
A new country, a new life, and new conditions have made it easier for me to do what I love. But this is just the beginning. I’m still at the very start of the path. My dreams have no bounds, and I’ve always had goals and dreams that keep me going.
Pablo Picasso beautifully said:
“Everything you can imagine is real.”
This sentence emphasizes the power of dreams in our lives. In my view, believing in a goal or dream as a reality generates the energy and motivation needed to achieve it. Mentally embracing what you intend to realize often boosts the desire to take action in the real world. Plus, it makes one more resilient against difficulties in reaching their goals. Every dream or goal represents new motivation and power.

This is one of my most trusted sayings, and I wanted to share it with you. If you can imagine it, you can make it happen. Don’t give up on your dreams. As you continue to dream, you’ll see that even obstacles become more manageable.
Let’s start turning our dreams and goals into reality then.
Don’t forget to share in the comments the moments and experiences that left a mark on you and where you felt this strength.
Yolda Bir Kalem, with you on every journey that leaves a mark…
